GC12 Recording Session With BLORR

A re-occuring theme in the band Bastard Lovechild of Rock n Roll is to create something larger than themselves. Whether musically, visually, fantastically, or even if its in your imagination, BLORR would like you to step outside of yourself for just that moment you are with them. And yes, this can be said before most shows at noisy Jagger fueled bars. "Hey guys, whatever you got going on, let's just pretend its you and us for a little while, ok?" Often faintly heard through the clanking of glasses, snickering, laughing, and never ending stream of charm from the guys who think liquid courage means getting blitzed enough so that the girl can't actually make out what pick up line they are slurring for the 5th time that night. But despite not taking themselves too seriously and adding a tasteful amount of theatrics to their live performance, BLORR is sincere. They really want you to journey with them into a land where Sultans of SLeaze reign over helplessly devoted dames and listen to the words sang by Cookie Sugarhips as pure Gospel of booty shaking.

BLORR was given the Nike GC12 jam room for this short time to create a world where the lightest and darkest thoughts can flourish.. With the help of Alexandra "Bluebean" Lawn (the cellist from Ra Ra Riot who is leaving her artistic touch all over the US) BLORR first transformed the GC12 jam room with paint. Next came recording... Here is a taste of what is coming from this playpen of R n R....
A song finished at the Motel No Tell entitled "Styxxx the Sultan of Sleaze"
