Camp Pendleton 4th of July BBQ
It was the 4th of July, the weather was glorious, and we had a bbq to prepare for the Camp Pendleton Surf Team. The surf team is around 20 Marines and their families, who I soon found out are a great crew of guys and gals. First things first, I set up the PA and put on a mix of the two greatest rockin rollers of all time: Hendrix and Zeppelin. By the time the music kicked in, Curtis (aka the Viking) was already starting to fill the coolers with cold drinks, I could already tell this was going to be an awesome day.
Once everyone arrived the fun began. There's the Nike 6.0 show room where you can design your own shoes on Nike ID, a heat press to make your own shirt, a ping-pong table, a chef cooking up ridiculously tasty chicken and steak kabobs, and all the freezing cold beverages you could drink! If that's not the perfect way to celebrate America's independence, I don't know what is!
