2009 NSSA Nationals

The 2009 NSSA Nationals was a week of non-stop action that won't be forgotten! With everyone surfing at the top of there game, no one had it easy, making it a competition that was extremely intense and fun to watch!

Everyone was shredding but you have to give it up for Nike 6.0 team rider Ian Gentil! He destroyed it this year taking home the titles for Open Boys and Explorer Menehune! After scoring two perfect 10's in the Open Boys finals, there was no stopping him! Throwing down perfect heats at only 13 years old you can only imagine what the future holds!

Malia Manuel also killed it! She didn't take home the title she was hoping for, but she did score the only perfect 10 in women's competition and ended up taking 4th place.

With that said, we had no choice but to throw Ian and Malia a congrats BBQ at The Motel No Tell! So we through some steaks and veggies on the grill and had a party!
